The Register provides a listing of one-place studies

currently being undertaken around the world which is:

open to all

free to access

free to add to

comprehensive

Each one-place study can benefit from:

a free dedicated webpage with key information about the study area, resources to hand, photos, etc.

links to the study’s own website, blog, facebook page/group, twitter account etc.

inclusion in the alphabetical indexes of all sub-places (e.g. hamlets) within the study area as listed on the submission

a free [place name]@oneplacestudy.org email address or autoforwarder (if required)

The Register is free, advertisement free and receives no income from any source. It is provided by a committed one-place study owner for the benefit of all other one-place study owners. There are no catches.

In fact, the study area can be much smaller than a village, for example, a hamlet or a single street - even the systematic research of all those buried in a graveyard or named on a war memorial counts!
