Additional comments from study owner

Details of Colan including: History, where it is, when first mentioned, registration district, population changes 1801 to 2011, parish church, holy wells, notable people, Social history.

Details of Cosworth/Cosowarth as above and including details of families etc.

My interest in the one place study was triggered by family history research and the fact that I have forebears who lived there in the 16th Century. At the present time my study of Colan comprises 17 pages and continues to grow.
