The website is primarily designed to assist those researching their family history whose ancestors came from the Isle of Mull and immediate surrounding islands.
To aid research the website has fully searchable transcripts of all the census from 1841 to 1911 with links between census for identified individuals. In addition there are numerous family histories. The family history section also contains all readable OPR records as well as details supplied from birth, death and marriage certificates.
A 'Location' index holds the OS grid reference for over 7,600 place names on the islands. Some have numerous alternative spellings.
There are photographs of most churches and burial grounds.
