Sennen

SENNEN parish, in the Hundred of Penwith, is the most westerly parish in mainland Britain. Adjoining parishes are St Just in Penwith to the north. St Buryan to the east, St Levan south and 28 miles to the west is the parish of the Isles of Scilly sitting in the Atlantic Ocean.

The Parish includes Land's End, which attracts thousands of visitors each year. Tourism here has been going on for hundreds of years and the people of the parish have also changed quite a lot in that time, with families moving out and new ones moving in. This makes the parish, and census records, a goldmine of information. Hopefully you will find some "lost" ancestors hiding here.
